Metallic Chromium

It is a strong carbide-forming alloy element that provides hardness and corrosion resistance in steel production.

Description

Metallic Chromium is one of the cornerstones of the steel industry. By forming stable metal carbides in the steel structure, it increases strength at part edges and imparts excellent corrosion resistance to the material. It is critically important especially in the production of stainless steel and high-strength superalloys.
